You're a little late with your hopes.

The public school system has already failed.

We have a very high rate of public school dropouts. We have a very high rate of "graduates" who are illiterate. We have a very high rate of dropouts and graduates who can't do the basic math to get a decent job. We have a much higher rate of students and graduates and dropouts who don't know understand economics and the politics which affects their daily lives.

And guess what? That is precisely what the liberals wanted. A population which is highly ignorant and uneducated tends to vote for liberals and socialists. Those voters don't know any better and are either incapable of understanding or don't cared to understand the consequences of their votes.

So, according to you and me, the school system has failed.

But, according to the liberal leadership, that failure of the school system is a major success for their side. They've gotten what they wanted and they now control the country. The school system produced according to their goals and agenda.
