The American Religious Identification Survey that Newsweek touted -- from Trinity College in Connecticut -- estimated there are now 173.4 million self-identified Christians in America, up from 151.2 million in 1990. The percentage declined, but the actual number increased.

Our church has never been so filled during our Easter 2nd service as it was this Sunday. And judging by the turnout at Easter breakfast, which occurs between the sunrise and 2nd services, the first service was also packed. Difficult times help people seek answers...

I noticed the same thing. All three services were filled. It seemed half the church were new faces.

Newsweak is dead.
