The Federal income tax code and it's 67,500 plus plus pages has become so bloated thanks to the multitude of loopholes and exemptions as a result of lobbyists on behalf of their big business clients that it is beyond repair. No amount of tinkering will fix it. It needs to be replaced with The Fair Tax Act(HR25/S296) that will replace all federal income taxes with a national sales/consumption tax and abolish the IRS. Have you seen Glenn Beck’s action on his TV show? He has a group of assistants printing the tax code on a handful of middle grade printers (not the high speed office monsters, but something a step below). He said it will take days! of non-stop action for the group to finish the printing.
