WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama has declined to answer a question about the hostage situation off the coast of Somalia. The president was asked about the incident as he met with U.S. homeowners about refinancing mortgages. At the close of a Roosevelt Room event, the president was asked by a reporter if he were concerned about the piracy incident. Obama responded: "Guys, we're talking about housing right now." Reporters were then ushered out of the room as they usually are after such events. Obama has yet to comment publicly on the incident.

Or because of the way the left spun a lot of things (wire taping -which is now OK, The war, The TARP which Obumer voted for). The Demwits caused a lot of the problems (not all) and successfully blamed it ALL on Bush. Also because the republicans had John McCain run as President....That was a O’bummer right there.

The piracy issue is not cut and dried. It is very nuanced. Since the pirates are muslims, the ransom money is going to a good cause, and it is a very effective way of wealth redistribution. It also highlights the weakness and disunity of Western "powers" compared to 4th world failed states and is good for the egos of all oppressed people.
So stamping out the pirates may not be a good deal. I'm sure obammy will find something good to say about them.
I think that he made up his mind who he is rooting for; he just doesn’t want to announce it. Americans are always the bad guys; he said so over and over in Europe. Africans are just trying to make a better life for themselves over those evil Americans who have make the lives of all Africans miserable. He has been pretty clear what he thinks about this sort of struggle in the past.
He needs to be totally scripted in order to answer it because he can make an official statement only two and a half months into his presidency that he intends to root for whomever is against the US.
And don’t forget voter fraud/ACORN.

So true. An acquaintence of mine was a huge Ron Paul supporter. When he was gone she voted Obummer.... why? Irrational hatred of George Bush - because NO ONE is stupid enough to go from Ron Paul to Obama without some idiotic reason.

Who said the rank and file of American voters are smart or make sense. Bush should have screamed bloody murder when ACORN and Barney Fag was destroying our economy. Then when they blamed Bush for the Fannie/Freddy debacle he was above it all and didn't point the blame at who was the real fault.
Yes he was a thousand times better than the POS who is in the White House now....but RINO politics allowed the MSM and the liberal politicians a hook to blame him and he just sat there with a goofy look on his face.
Bushes VP would have been a much better POTUS and we still might have all three branches of govt. after the second term.

It really pains me to say it but I have thought the same thing recently.
Maybe the President supports Muslim piracy because the US is so evil.
He has total control of the media. The media has always been left leaning, but I never thought I would see such obedience to the White House. The WH press corps have been put in straight jackets and I haven’t heard any complaints.
