Steve Kroft caught Barack Obama "laughing and chuckling several times while discussing the perilous state of the economy", at one point asking "Are you punch-drunk?" Politico says "his awkward laughter highlighted an issue Obama has faced dating back to the campaign, a sense that he sometimes is too 'cool' and detached to fully grasp the public anxiety over mounting job losses and economic worries."
We learn in the 60 minutes interview that Mr. President has time off in the afternoon to see his kids...

Was it really “awkward” laughter, or does this narcissist intent on destroying this country actually think it’s funny?
Especially since the press themselves are in danger of losing their jobs, as the papers are all going broke.
Jerks, aren’t they?
It is very possible that this issue has legs...and you know Obama's handlers are p!ssed about this.
Did you hear it?
Anyone who has spent time around stoners recognizes that kind of laughter. I suspect Croft moved in to effect damage control.
Children play house. This supposed adult plays white house. The swing set is vulgar, and those girls will get bored from having everything.
I didnt think there was anything “awkward” about his laughter, rather i thought he seemed very happy. Its been my opinion for some time now that Osama doesnt really care if our financial system fails. I think he has his sights set on the post depression, communal, utopian workers paradise he envisions for America.
No, I didn’t hear it.
He is laughing because he is destroying the economy and there is not a damn thing we can do about it.
The President sounded (and acted) stoned. What he said wasn’t even funny.
“Who would have thought...The only thing worse than giving money to the banks is giving it to GM....snicker snort”
He even amazed the liberal Steve Croft who stepped in to interrupt his gigglefest.
Maybe it will be up on Youtube later...then again, maybe not.
I thought that picture was an Obama cabinet meeting.
So Governor Palin’s kids would have been too much of a distraction, but Bambi puts his kids, working out, and weekends off ahead of the job. Great.
That belongs on a playground, not a back yard. Even most playgrounds don't have anything like the Obama kids. I bought a swingset for my grandkids, that allowed 7 kids to use it at one time. They thought they were at King's Island. My set was under $300. (I have 10 grandkids)
Even a Rahm Emanuel wants to have some time with his children. He is a father, dontchaknow, and fathers are off-limits! Or so he said.
You can buy a car for that kind of money.
Rahm has kids? Oh I asummed....
Seriously, $14,999? I realize we pay for for government jobs but still, $15K for that?
