Israel as a modern political state is only 61 years old.
The land of present day Israel hasn't been under Jewish control continuously for 2000 years.
The Bible is relates that Israel as the Jewish state was defeated repeatedly by the Romans, Assyrians and the Babylonians to name a few. The Jews have gathered there again and now have a state but this is a recent development.
Apparently, beating up the Jews has historically been fun.
Just about everyone has done it.
It seems unthinkable until you see Barbra Streisand. A violent thought crosses your mind. You can’t help it.
Maybe the ancient Israelis were mostly like Barbra Streisand. Would you view Nebuchadnezzar as a villian or a hero?

since the regathering in 1948 . . . God has been busy insuring that all the other puzzle pieces to fit into the
SAME
END TIMES ERA . . . ALL those prophecies and their supporting puzzle pieces have been increasingly moving into place exactly, precisely as Scripture predicted 2000 years and longer ago.
Clueless sorts may deny that.
God Almighty will insure that HIS WORD is fulfilled to the nth degree.
