You know, I expect to find terrorist sympathisers in DUmmy world, but finding them here on FR has put a downer on my day.

How would you react if two US troops (just about to go to Afghanistan) had just been shot by terrorists in the area concerned and I posted something like:

“seriously, the US doesn’t belong in New Mexico” (or Hawaii or Alaska or wherever else the US might have started having soveriegnty over a few hundred years after we had soverignty in Northern Ireland.

Think about it. Then hold your head in shame.

Unfortunately, threads about N. Ireland always bring out the Plastic Paddy’s who sympathize with a cause they’ve never taken the time to understand.

I’m surprised that a few of my favorites haven’t made their way to this thread yet.

Ha ha, you are such a joke comparing America to Britain. Shame on you - what a disgusting mixed up bit of elitism that works in loose understandings of this world. Unfortunately, public education doesn't focus enough on history- so you turn to the bugaboo of the USA correct and excellent actions in comparison to the British historic quest for empire.
