"Seminar" callers are not seasoned politicians -- Rush never seems to deal with the latter. It's the difference between a high school star and an NFL player.
Hes articulate and knows conservative ideals and principles like no other.
Like "no other?" Oh, come now. You're talking like he's your own version of Obama.
You put your money on Obama.
Yes, indeed. Not that I like the idea, but I think Obama would mop the floor with Rush, just because he'd be in his native environment. Maybe I'm wrong ... but I don't think so. Rush is too used to controlling the mike, and he never debates people at Obama's level.
But then again, this is all conversation. It will never happen.
Agreed.
Obama camp has already started to back away.
Oh, pooh -- they'd never seriously consider it in the first place. They have nothing to gain from it.
Then just what the hell has all this been about? Rush didn't start it except for saying he hopes Obama's policies fail. And that doesn't justify a personal attack by the president. And if they realize they have nothing to gain (as you say), then why go down this road regardless of what Rush says. After all, you've said he isn't that influential.
Just why is it that you think Rush is as popular as he is? And what do you think of those of us who listen to him?
