I doubt very seriously that anyone whose people actually went through the Civil War want another one.

You may need to sit down before you read this. I'm concerned that this will be a stunning news flash that could cause you to fall down and hurt yourself.

NO one living in America today went through the Civil War, they're all dead!!

My sarcasm and smarta$$ed reply aside, I'd LOVE to see this work out differently but, increasingly, I am of the opinion that the only way to end the blantant assault by the left on the Constitution is by allowing history to repeat itself. I'm not a big fan of war - I've been to mine and it wasn't that much fun - but, sometimes, war is necessary to right an eggregious wrong . . . . . . . or an evil!!

In the South, when we speak of “our people”, we mean any and all of our relatives, living and dead. My husband’s great, great grandfather was a Confederate soldier, and he still regards him as one of “his people”. My parents are dead, but I still think of them as “my people”.

I don’t know what’s going to happen. Peace, I hope!
