Cali has too many people living in a semi-arid location.

“Cali has too many people living in a semi-arid location.”

Exactly. The same is true of much of the west. We built in spots that couldn’t come close to supplying the water we needed to support our settlements. We continue to grow in our usage while at the same time depleting some of the aquifers and squeezing existing resources to the breaking point. At some point we will probably see growth stop out there because they aren’t building in places that can support them.

And 0 and Pelosi would love to have aborted them all.

Not too arid this weekend. It’s been raining straight for almost 3 days in San Jose.

SoCal doesn’t need the rain (but it helps) what makes it green and fills the pools is snow in the Sierra’s. Heavy
snow has been going on all winter. Looks like 2009 - 2010
is safe.

Historians recall quite well that the first 3 settlements in what we now call Los Angeles failed for lack of water.

Of course, modern Angelinos know better, right?

And will demand the rest of the nation bail their butts out.

I call BS. Dams could solve many if not most all
of California’s issues.

Where do these wackos get their money?

If we called it the ‘Future estuary preservation and
creation act’ the lib-nuts would love it.
