We already have the same problem here. We have a shortage of neurosurgeons and orthopedists willing to take trauma call. Often patients are flighted to a facility out of their area to obtain the treatment they need. This is especially common with children as more and more neuro and ortho specialists don’t have malpractice coverage to treat pediatric cases.

Very true. I just shudder at the thought of baby boomers living into their 80’s and 90’s, 55 trillion needed to pay for their S.S. and lacking the health care facilities to handle that burden.
