>> I wonder how long they give him to get out of the governer’s mansion. Do the state police or his security detail just put him off the property immediately, or what? Do they put his goods out on the sidewalk? <<

Since his 2003 inauguration, our governor ha opted not to live in the Governor's mansion. He stays at his private estate in the Ravenwood neighborhood of Chicago, and stays at a hotel while in the state capitol, Springfield (which is a rare occurrence).

Rod Blagojevich is the first Governor not to live in the "continuously occupied" Governor's office since it was first opened in the 1850s.

In retrospect, yes. Actually there was the issue of how he was going to get back to Chicago if things did not turn out well for him in Springfield, so today he took a private jet instead of the usual state jet.

Fitzgerald blew it by not letting Blagojevich go through with the deal with .....

Obama and Tribune were tipped off about the process......it appears Fitzgerald was deliberate and motivated to intervene prematurely to protect others before they impuned themselves.

Assuming he’s convicted in Federal court . . . what would the new total of former Illinois governors, senators, congressman, etc.... in prison be?

His wife wouldn’t move down state to Springfield, so they stayed in Chicago.

This is going to be fun watching the Democrats fight each other. There is going to be a lot of good tid bits of information coming out of Illinois pretty soon...no wonder Obamadama wants to hush up the news media.

He has a constitutional right to a fair criminal trial. He does not have a constitutional right to elected office.

Here’s hoping that Blago is a vengeful loser and plans to take everyone associated with him down the tubes with him.

I just can’t believe that Blago wasn’t smart enough to do his own taping. I mean whouldn’t that be great if he announced out of the blue that he has personally taped every conversation he has had with every politician, etc.
