You're probably right, but the kind of crowd that loves Aretha Franklin -who got her start in gospel signing, IIRC- should also be willing to PRAY OUT LOUD!

The only bright light of the event was Rev. Warren.
No matter the position or education, the human brain knows what it knows. After all of the rejections of cases, the justices still know there is a cloud over this guy and they will live with it until something is done or until death.

That could possibly be the worst excuse for a poem I have ever heard recited before an audience. Please let’s hope that Quincy Jones doesn’t get his way and Obama doesn’t name a cabinet-level ‘arts and culture tsar’!

Agree, the poem is terrible. So is this prayer. Guy looks and sounds like Charlie Rangel.
If Obama had just recited just what was being said to him, (even if the words order was messed up) it would have gone smoothly.

The FIRST unmet expectation of BHO is his speech. What was he thinking? Sounded like a “cut & paste” of his campaign speeches. Sorry, he’s a moron. Crafty, but a moron nonetheless.
