There are questions about pardon v commutation, but they will be freed. Their attorneys can deal with the rest of it. I am so happy for them and their families.

Commutation = Still a convicted felon and all that entails but sentence is shortened.

Pardon - as if the conviction never happened. All rights and privileges of full citizenship are restored.

I would have preferred a pardon, but this is still good news.

If they hadn't lied about some of the events, they probably would have been pardoned. Too bad their supervisors didn't take the heat, because IMO they were the source of the original "cover up", and the agents were going along with them as they "handled" it.

God Bless these guys and their families - I hope He pours out His blessings and goodness in bucketfuls...
