great post — the way that Lebanon was allowed to fester after the fraudulent cease-fire in 2006 is outrageous.
I also blame Olmert and Israeli leadership for botching their chance to really dismantle Hezbullah, though — they knew that under almost any scenario they only had a few weeks to do the job, yet they dithered and dallied until the “international pressure” built up and the Israeli domestic support faded.
I call Omert ElMort, so I know where you are coming from.
Israel should have squashed Hezbollah. They will now pay. Sad.
