Maybe he didn’t like the prospect of being the next Ron Brown for another corrupt RAT administration? Besides if BHO has a bad term, Bill might have a chance in 2012. HRC will have been part of the administration and find it more difficult to run against BHO.

Barack Obama on Sunday was dealt his first serious setback since the election when his choice for commerce secretary withdrew from nomination, as congressional leaders warned that an emergency $775bn fiscal stimulus package was unlikely to be passed before the presidential inauguration.

Bill Richardson, the governor of New Mexico and the only new member of Mr Obama’s cabinet with previous cabinet experience, said he was stepping aside because of a pending investigation of a company that had done business with in New Mexico.

“Let me say unequivocally that I and my administration have acted properly in all matters and that this investigation will bear out that fact,” said Mr Richardson. “But I have concluded that the ongoing investigation also would have forced an untenable delay in the confirmation process,” he said, in a statement released on Sunday by the Obama transition team.

You make very good comments regarding Emanuel.

I scanned this thread and actually I didn’t see anyone else even mention Emanuel.

Which is funny. Cause I would have bet good money that Emanual would have been the FIRST nominee to drop out. Due to his involvement in Blago-gate.

But Richardson beat him to the punch. Oh well. Won’t be long - certainly before Inauguration Day - before Rahm bites the dust.

Harry Reid had the nerve to say even today “Bush is the worst President in American History” So they keep on dishing it out on Bush even though Bush had a really rough Presidency that called for hard decisions and tough courses of acion and he and the Republicans were met all along the way with consistent resistance by Rats....

Now we are being told that for the Good of the country.... to be Patriotic we must all come together and support OBAMA>.....

LOL>... Where were they when good men died because of the support that they failed to give this president... They take no ownership on the accusations against our troops the very accusations that caused the enemy to use in recruitment...

They have no shame and the real story gets locked down by the pro Obama media....

Obama can’t throw Emanuel under the bus with his grandmother because Emanuel’s actions are too closely tied to Obama. Obama has got to make it sound as though Emanuel was working on his own before the election (which he obviously was not).

Richardson couldn’t pass that little loyalty test that Obama put out for appointees. Neither can Hillary, but she will.

Bill Richardson, the governor of New Mexico and the only new member of Mr Obama’s cabinet with previous cabinet experience, said he was stepping aside because of a pending investigation of a company that had done business with in New Mexico.

Richardson was urged by the Obama Transition Team, reported on CNN by a reporter that was aboard the US Air Force plane with Obama after landing in Washington a few minutes ago.

Funny you mention ole George W. Bush, I was going to include him in my statement.

It is after all the least that traitor could do for his socialist buds I would think. Pardon Bill then Ozama could still have him in his cabinet.
