DONOFRIO IS NOT DISPUTING THAT OBAMA IS A US CITIZEN!On the other hand, Philip Berg, who has also filed suit with the Supreme Court, does say that B. Hussein Obama is not a US citizen, on several grounds, including:
- Berg believes that Obama was actually born in Kenya, not in Hawaii. The document which has been made available on the web is not a birth certificate, but a "certificate of live birth" (and maybe an altered one, at that)- there seems to be an important legal distinction between a BC and a COLB.
- His mother's second husband was an Indonesiaa citizen. School records from Indonesia, where Obama started school, list him as an Indonesian citizen (and a Muslim.) Indonesia does not recognize dual citizenship, so for him to have been a citizen of Indonesia, his mother would have had to renounce on Obama's behalf any US citizenship which Obama may have had. Obama did travel to Pakistan using an Indonesian passport, implicitly accepting Indonesian citizenship, not US citizenship.
It seems to me that the Indonesian matter is conclusive - Barack Hussein Obama is today a citizen of Indonesia.
There also seems to be some questions about Obama's "missing" (not brought forward) hospital birth record which would be critical evidence in this case.
