it will be a victory for Sarah Palin, inspite of Saxby Chambliss. If Chambliss goes back to DC with more RINO garbage, he will be out in the primary next time round. Maybe he and Mel M. can start a thinktank together.

Meanwhile, I wouldn’t mind seeing herman cain give it another go.

But isn't the ability to think a requirement for that???

I hope Herman Cain does run again. He had my vote on his first try.

Speaking of Sarah Palin and Saxby Chambliss, consider the following irony. Sarah is actually helping a federal senator to exercise powers which have been largely wrongly usurped from the states by the feds anyway. This is evidenced by the following statutes.

Article I, Section 8, Clause 18: To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution (emphasis added) in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.

10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution (emphasis added), nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

In fact, I think that God kept Sarah in Alaska for the following reason.

Consider that the states actually have the lion's share difference of government powers between total government powers minus the limited powers delegated to the Oval Office and Congress by the Founders as evidenced by the statutes above. So given Sarah's track record for successfully taking on the big boys, Sarah is in a better position as a governor, in my opinion, as opposed to being VP - or even president - to lead Alaska to set the example for the other states to do the following. Sarah can lead Alaska to take back state powers stolen by the feds over the last several decades while restoring constitutional limits on the powers of the renegade federal government.
