A question. If these kids are so well educated why are so many bright Asian kids sitting in front of me in my class in Woodside? My class has 17 Aisian kids with less than 4 months in the USA. You would think people satisfied with their kids education wouldn’t be eager to move 12000 miles to a place that’s as strange to them as the Moon.
For the same reason that an increasing number of high skill set people I know apply for jobs in england, italy and taiwan — opportunity. Right now the best shot for those kids in your class is in the U.S. In a few years it might be in the UK or netherlands.
