MSNBC host Chris Matthews is making preliminary inquiries into running to unseat Republican Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania, while openly declaring himself an active supporter of the Obama administration.
Matthews described it as his "job" to help Obama on Thursday during Joe Scarborough's "Morning Joe" program.

While I hate this jacka$$, there’s something to be said for ANYBODY replacing Specter.
If he does I will make it my personal mission to see him defeated. One Matthews brother is enough in these parts in office.

I watch him everyday, I have yet to see him Demonize Republicans.
He calls it as it is.
He doesn’t agree with policy positions, but he always gives fair hearing, never cuts off anyone, keeps it light hearted, but he does point out the spin when he sees it.
Is there anything that can be done to vet the ballots this time?

Nope. I think he is genuinely nice guy. He can be voice of conscience.
He can be counted upon to speak up if he sees billions being given away to giant corporations or government contractors.
He is someone who would be willing to lose his seat to say what the truth is.
Which is why I don’t think he has a prayer to get elected.
Unless he can learn to spin and lie, and take poll-tested positions, he or any other politician doesn’t have much of a chance.

That would set me into early death. The things we are seeing is aging me by the minute. I don’t know if I will make in until 2016! In eight years I will be 55 year old. It could be a young death!

I missed yesterday’s show. War for Oil is nonsense. That more Olberman’s line. Chris may have asked that question, I haven’t seen him push that.
