These folks have had their head in the deep, deep ground far too long. Time to come up and see the light.

That is NOT where they've had their heads.

So either Hussein was lying to his buddies in San Francisco or he was lying to the coal miners.

Either way, he is a liar.

LOL!

Save this one for the next election. If the mines are still open they will be shipping all their product to China, perhaps with Chinese managers overseeing them

...Roberts said. “He has made it clear that as President, he will continue that support and will make our needs his priorities.

Yes, he will give you all the welfare you can handle when your mines are closed and shut down forever because of Global Warming Carbon Cap & Trade schemes..........

And I have some swamp land to sell them — if they can afford it after their union dues skyrocket.

one of two things will happen.

Obama will stay true to his views of putting companies that produce power out of business and these companies will not fight being blind to the dem party OR there will be the biggest political brawl ever seen as energy companies go full bore to bury Obama and his democrat allies that try to ruin this country with their extremely misguided policies.

Cecil E. Roberts merely demonstrates that some degrees of stupidity probably can’t be remedied.

”United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) International President Cecil E. Roberts”

When all the other coal miners are out of work, this union thug will still have a job.

Most Coal miners make over 70 K per year. That will fall under Obama’s adjusted definition of “the rich”. Add to that, the new Union voting law, the Unions will increase their fees. The workers will take much less home from both sides. The Union Bosses will take more.

Not only that, Unions will increase all across this country and wages/benefits will be forced up to unaffordable levels for most business and industry. They will have to increase prices on most everything, including food. That is because even farmers will have to deal with Unions when their workers decide they want it. The owners of all business will have no say in it, other than going out of business, under this new Socialist rule.

My father was in the mine roof bolt business for 30 years. This union is and has always been a mouthpiece and left arm of the DNC.

They have never cared a damn thing about the industry, or its workers. They are simply a dues collecting, vote manufacturing machine for the Democrat party.

“HI! I’m the guy in charge of the Cola Miners union, and our new President is going to trash our industry thoroughly, but We, as a union, will do great. Just not those who actually work within said union, but us union management types will be fine!”

Total frickin morons!
