If you cannot act like a man then get off this board and log back onto DUmmie Underground!
GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
“can we ever get those states back?”
Yes if we go on the attack - America wants us to win but the GOP has been a party of losers, apologists, and wimps. We must attack and expose that they are the racist, they are the bigots, they could care less about children, they are the murderers, etc.... We can if we are willing to get to the emotion of the simple minded (that is the electorate that they own now)
Guys the dems decided some time ago that they would win by getting the idiots and the emotional people to vote for them. We can win these people back if we use our own media to show that they are the party of hate, division, and oppression.
Thanks, I needed that slap on the face. Can I act like my husband? Let me get a beer out of the garage & work on my 1929 Roadster (lemon yellow) with narrow tires on front & huge tires on the back. Light her up and she wakes the neighborhood. (better not, they will think its an O party)
I served long before you did punk. Shut up and get to work.
Better start thinking about how many carbon credits you will have to buy to even fire up the engine.
The country is less white than it was 40 years ago. It’s much more Hispanic and Black. This is a “teaching moment”....we have to teach the ideas of conservatism...that the American dream is not about government involvement and big government...But rather individual freedoms, choices and decisions....that YES anyone regardless of color can realize the American dream...and unlike any party...any movement..conservatism doesn’t see any color of skin...any ethnicity ...it sees Americans in each and every one of us.. If you can’t win over Hispanics and blacks with conservatism than conservatism is surely going to fail..because eventually we will be a large minority.
I do believe this election was a referendum on Bush...McCain takes the fall by agreeing with Bush more often than not...and Obama was the dream candidate for people who don’t know any better. He is whatever each individual voter wants him to be.
But remember this...tonight the 2008 brand new Lexus Obama pulls off the lot...shiny brand new with no blemishes..no scratches..no dents... We will get to know this new vehicle over the next 4 years and there will be MUCH more blemishes then than now. He depreciates the minute he leaves the lot....he leaves the lot when he reaches 270 EV’s.
Yes. Appeal to the Hispanic Catholics. Appeal to Hispanic small business owners. Mexico’s most recent election put in their conservative party. Strange world that we’re living in when in a few years, Mexico is going to be more of a free-market country than we are.
One. West Virginia.
I wasn’t thinking of a revolution, at least not in the usual sense. But refusing to be a part of a system that treats us as beasts of burden is certainly feasible. Lots of ways to do that.
Yes at least at the national level-good observation on your part. However, both senators are Democrats and the governor too I believe. Maybe that will change in the future.
I agree with jokyfo. We are the party of true men and women. If you have to whine, cry and bitch, then maybe next election you’ll get out and do more for your country and party.
Work harder, tell your friends and neighbors.
Wimps are the other party.
If being a man and not letting losing an election get you down, If that’s what a “n00b” is then count me as a n00b, too.
Pissing and moaning doesn’t accomplish anything. And I’ve been here a while. Care to call me “n00b”?
Neither was I.. This is like a football game with unlimited quarters (yes, don’t question my math)... Revolution is not what I was thinking, it is the ‘left’ that rebels, we LIVE. I am working on an article for National Review now, but the basic premise is, what do you learn, what did they do right, what did we do wrong, where did we lose our message.. far too many people think we moved too much to the right.. my concept is we didn’t communicate the ‘right’ correctly.. we didn’t empower the individual like Reagan did.. we abandoned that too quickly.. more to come....
Then don’t act defeatist. Anerica has gone through much tougher times than an Obama presidency. Sure he and the Democrats can do alot of damage in four years(hopeful in two years we can stauch the wound) What we have to do is learn from our mustakes and go on.
Hey, after 9/11, Katrina, Iraq and Afghanistan, the Credit meltdown happening on our watch, we still have a bulletproof senate filibuster(dims didn’t get 60 seats)
We’re not dead. We’re on recon....

I’m not acting defeatist, but I do recognize that we were defeated...and defeated very handily. We need to accept this, stop looking at things through the rose colored glasses that so many of us were wearing as we dismissed all of the polls and signs that this would happen tonight, and start immediately at looking for conservative leaders who will discard the GWB/McCain policy of ‘reaching across the aisle’ and implement a take no prisoners attitude towards the socialists in Washington. The sooner we come to terms with the truth of the situation and the reality of what we need to do starting right now, the better our chances are of winning again.
You talking about McCain?
That dick owes me an apology.
I didn’t get that in his lilac speech to his “good friend” Obama.
