Qaeda wants Republicans, Bush "humiliated"-Web video Thu Oct 30, 2008 1:01pm EDT

DUBAI (Reuters) - An al Qaeda leader has called for President George W. Bush and the Republicans to be "humiliated," without endorsing any party in the upcoming U.S. presidential election, according to a video posted on the Internet.

"O God, humiliate Bush and his party, O Lord of the Worlds, degrade and defy him," Abu Yahya al-Libi said at the end of sermon marking the Muslim feast of Eid al-Fitr, in a video posted on the Internet.

Libi, one of the top al Qaeda commanders believed to be living in Afghanistan or Pakistan, called for God's wrath to be brought against Bush equating him with past tyrants in history.

This is helpful to McCain and Republicans.

I am doing contract work abroad to pay off my massive law school student loan debt and I get the English stations from the Middle East and some of the African countries on my cable and they are looking for Obama to back way away from Isarel. And after the USA just got Syria, there was a protest it seems but they were worried about making the protest too big in fear of American voters getting upset and voting for McCain. I am sure this stuff can be found on the Internet for these newstations.

If I were a Democrat, I would be ashamed of this. A true enemy of the Republic does not see the Democratic party as a threat to its existence.

As a Republican, however, I am proud that worldwide evil fears the election of my party.

My God, Al Qaeda has now openly endorsed Obama. Can this get any worse?

Republicans will be humiliated if Obama wins, rubbing our faith in Bush in our faces. But democrats party will end early next year, when for the first time in 14 years, they have no one to point at but themselves. (they will still blame Bush for all the painful things they do, but that will wear thin, maybe people will figure out they ran congress since 2007.)

Given the political awareness of Obama's allies in the Middle East regarding Syrian protests which you note, it's surprising that al Qaeda is so tone deaf to American politics. This statement is an 11th hour gift to McCain and Republicans from al Qaeda.

So true. The dems have done everything they could to tear down President Bush and the Republicans. They have been happy to grant Al Qaeda’s wish.

As a worshiper of possibly the greatest tyrant of humans in history, Muhammad, this guy's condemnation is a compliment.

And in case some who haven't studied Islam might think they don't worship Muhammad, don't believe that false claim. Allah is nothing more than the celestial rubber stamp of authority for the mere mortal Islam calls a "prophet".

Islam is arguably The Great Deceiver's greatest work in terms of number of souls kept from Truth while believing they were pursuing it.

I think the idiots at the AP thinks this helps Obama, I wonder if a Bin Laden video is percolating, I wish Bin Laden was not on this planet, so I feel bad about hearing from the scum, but at this point, well the question is, is it bad to root for a Bin Laden video, I don’t know, can’t wait until this election is over.

The first thing I was thinking of was that flag Moulitsas over at the KOSsucker site.

He said pretty much the same thing.

He’s hoping the Dems do it for him because his own butt has been kicked repeatedly up between his ears. A steady diet of roast goat and grubs will do that to you.

The Democrats have no sense of shame ~ so much for your thesis.

On the other hand AlQaida and their running dog lackeys among the Islamofascists of the world DO NOT BELIEVE IN ELECTIONS.

Whether McCain wins or not the fact we have an election in the face of their request for God to humiliate us is, it turns out, a humiliation of themselves.

Then, once this is over, and Obama goes back to Kenya, or Indonesia, or wherever he's really from (where they have "57 states") we can get back to killing Islamofascists and cleansing the world of such morbid stupidity.

I am not talking about their feelings. Republicans are pretty much a terrified group, unwilling to do anything, just hoping to hang on to own positions, ‘screw fellow republicans’, I can maybe save me’. But next year, if Obama wins the heat is on them. Remember democrats in 1994? Train wreck!

What if they pick up lots of seats in congress? It would be terrible but that is the price WE pay for the last two years of Bush. We got a few vetos, and the surge, but now we pay. Nothing is for free. It was easy for me to predict a slaughter if Bush stayed in after 2006 election. But no one wanted to hear that then. “ hang on “ was the motto. “The alternative is worse” was the line. Well now the bill is due. And Pelosi was careful to not let the public know democrats got congress in 2007, so republicans get blame for everything bad either party did,

Everyone knows the Democrats brought calamity down on the nation, most particularly the Democrats.

"W" was not relevant in the process.

In any case, if Kerry had won there'd be no election this year ~ he'd have announced a national emergency and curfew. Armed troops would be patrolling your neighborhood to make sure you stayed indoors.
