While that is probably true, courtesy demands that she be given the chance to tell everyone that the first time. I would always call her "Governor" until she told me directly that "Sarah" was ok.

People I meet usually call me "Mr. R----", until I tell them it's ok to call me "Frank". If they don't, they get the "Flip Wilson/Geraldine" comeback, "You don't know me."
