That we would know as much about salvation through Jesus Christ and be able to argue every angle against sin, that we know about Obama and why his presidency would harm the world. Give us the same fire in our bellies, to save the lost, as we have to stop Obama! Let us pray as hard for your Kingdom, as we have prayed for our earthly government. Let us be as grieved for the Lost of this world as we have grieved for the potential loss of our earthly freedom. Let our hearts cry out against the sins and the loss of freedom that sin brings, as we have against this political enemy of freedom.
Forgive us Father that we, like our President, have mixed the blood of Jesus Christ with the powers of this world. We have looked for the answers to our earthly problems among the enemies of your Kingdom. Oh Lord how we have shamed ourselves and brought calamity to our land! Please forgive us. Your word says if we confess our sin, you are faithful and just to forgive us our sin, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Please do so through your Holy spirit in the Name of Jesus Christ.
We are ashamed and humbled. Please do not look upon our sin, look upon our repentant hearts, washed by the blood of Jesus; and rise up in us. Forgive us and deliver us; resurrect in us, your changing power; resurrect in our nation the mighty power that made us great-—YOU! Lord, bless each of your children with the wisdom, courage, ability and desire to fight for your Kingdom even harder; give us the power to fight against the dark powers and kingdoms that destroy our families and neighborhoods; and who would take over our country; as hard, or harder than we have fought against Obama! Thank you Lord Jesus, in your name and by your authority I pray and ask, amen.
