If she is in much pain the doctors could be recommending a morphine drip and no further treatment.

Obama is not leaving until Thursday and will return to the campaign trail on Saturday. His grandmother was released from the hospital late last week. If she were really at death's doorstep, Obama should be on the plane to Hawaii now. The fact that Andy Martin is on the ground in Hawaii releasing his findings thru Wednesday may be a coincidence or the fact that the Obama campaign has missed a deadline on the Berg suit yesterday may be a coincidence.

One thing for sure, there is more to this trip than a sick grandmother.
