The presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) asked the Justice Department on Friday to allow an existing special prosecutor to probe the possible collaboration between the Bush administration and the presidential campaign of Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in generating what Obama aides charge are spurious allegations and investigations of voter fraud.

Not to burst any bubbles, but I worked to register voters back in the Reagan years. We were told it was illegal to reject any application, because obviously some party could offer to register voters of the other party and then trash them.

I had some rude person come up and register as Mickey Mouse, but I still had to turn that registration in.

Personally I think the RINOS are using this to justify them taking over our party and losing. Not sure what is going to happen next, but if we lose this election we need to clean out the party of fake Republicans and make way for a Palin 12 run. The next president, regardless of who is elected is going to be ineffective because of the economy. Re-election will be hard to impossible.

That is funny because in a neighborhood near me, there is a Kerry/Edwards sign in the yard. It was put out there earlier this week. I am tempted to stop and ask the homeowners intent in placing the 2004 Kerry/Edwards sign now at this point. My suspicion is it says they do not support That One. But, I am not sure what it may say about the alternative....

Obama camp calls for special prosecutor in fraud investigation

The Obama campaign announced Friday that it is asking Attorney General Michael Mukasey to turn over any investigations of voter fraud or voter suppression to Special Prosecutor Nora Dannehy.

Dannehy is also the special prosecutor recently appointed to investigate the U.S. attorney firing scandal.

IF he doesn’t finish by election day he knows the hand writing on the wall. Obama, if elected will undo everything he has found on Chicago corrupt politics. That is a given. Fitzgerald is well aware of that and has spent 7 years in Chicago uncovering the most corrupt city probably in the whole United States. He must have some very good info to get REzko to sing on what looks like the Governor and most likely Sen. obama. From what I have read Fitz has spent 120 hrs a week on the corruption...so, I have this funny feeling with the recent leaks/rumor of conviction on HillBuzz and other websites that he knows he will need to act swiftly...OR its a goner...and Bush will be the one to sign the DOJ papers. Sweet.....revenge...for crooks and a hero of Fitz. Hope I am right.
