If you’re among those who speculate that the only thing better than Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin on “Saturday Night Live” would be Sarah Palin making a cameo on the show, there might be hope yet.
If the buzz is to be believed, the NBC show is working to get the vice-presidential candidate and Alaska governor on air before the election Although “Saturday Night Live,” like many other shows, doesn’t comment specifically on bookings, a rep said, “There are always talks with the candidates' camps.”
There’s also some buzz about Palin making an appearance on “The View.”
Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain have both made appearances, and “View” executive producer Bill Geddie says, “‘The View’ has established itself as a place to be seen for both the presidential and VP candidates, their wives and/or husbands and they all have an open invitation to appear on the show.’”

Please, Sarah, don’t go one “The View”! It will only boost that pitiable show’s ratings.
If done right, an appearance on SNL could go over very well (ie spoofing Tina Fey as a celebrity).

No to “The View” and I wouldn’t be opposed to slapping NBC and CBS with total embargos.
Fox gets prime access, then talk radio, then ABC, then everyone else can fight over what’s left of the time budgeted for media access.
Agree about the View but hey, at least for once they could deal with a guest who could give as good as she gets, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised to find some pointy-heel spike marks down a few backsides after her segment is over.

Why does our side continue to dignify these loser shows like SNL and The View by appearing on them? They will ALWAYS be against our side, so you gain nothing by going on there. But you help the opposition significantly because the appearance lends political credibility to people who should not have any. It’s the same argument the Republicans correctly use about not meeting with foreign enemies like the Iranian midget, but they miss the similar point here. The Republican ‘leadership’ is a collection of complete clowns, and they have allowed a Marxist, anti-American nobody to be leading the Presidential race with a month to go. Unbelievable, and unforgiveable incompetency.

No... The View is a bunch of Pigs..minus Elizabeth Hassleback, the Pigs always talk over Elizabeth. If Sarah Palin were to go up against those Women... all Jackasses, she would just look silly with Jackass spit all over her.
