Thank you for posting this. I reported the site with the info on it to the Secret Service. The agent told me he would forward it to the electronic crimes unit as well. Lets see if they broke any laws in obtaining the info.

Thanks. I don't see how laws weren't broken.

The stakes are The White House. Do you think that a privacy law will stand in Obot’s way?

You are missing the whole point!

Yes we put our social security number down on all kinds of documents; but it is breaking the law to disseminate those documents in a manner that would enable others to obtain that information for nefarious purposes!

Good LORD man! Next time you go to the courthouse ask for copies of documents that contain the social security number of others - just try it...

I don't have to go to the courthouse. Many of the documents are now electronically filed, and available to the public for free or a nominal charge. Many of these documents contain social security numbers that have not been redacted from pubic view. In fact, many of the documents that contain social security numbers were filed by the holder of the social security number. For example, a party to a medical malpractice/neglience claim may file a motion with the court that includes medical records, accident reports, DMV records, or other documents that contain a party's social security number as an exhibit to the motion, and a party to a banking or other commercial dispute may file a motion that includes credit applications and other records that include a social secuirty number. I was asking about posting it on the internet or sending it to others via e-mail. Other’s who have no legitimate business reason to have the info or do not have the person of the person whose number it is.
