That's because they believe the only real experience is to be had in DC. What the rest of us do out in the part of America that doesn't matter, the small towns and all that, is not important. But that is one of the things Americans are going to like about this. We are sick to death of DC as you can see from the congressional approval ratings. We don't want more of that, and that is just what Biden gives us.

Mara dwelled on the gender issue. Said that Palin would appeal to the Appalachian Belt voters, but they wouldn't vote for Obama anyway (she might as well have just called 'em out as racist crackers, but she's too slick for that).

As always, the panel misses the key point when it comes to bread-and-butter flyover country issues (like they did with the illegal immigration debate). Palin will appeal to Reagan Dems, no matter what their gender. And she is a tremendous appeal to those who are sick of corruption but don't know how to go about fighting. Sarah has shown how it's done. Smoke that, Obama.
