[chuckle] Goodwin claimed BHO is now ready to be POTUS because “we” {the inside the beltway crowd} have become comfortable with him over the last 6-18 months... and the S.Palin is not after 2 years as a Gov.

Andrea Mitchell in fast staccato,(obviously still shaken by the Palin experience), says that they only chose Palin because there would have been a floor fight if they picked Lieberman.

They booth need a cranal-rectalotomy......

They know it is game over, they can spin all they want for the next 9 weeks or so, but the thought of another Republican President without the Clinton type Gala's to go to in the White-house has them reaching for the Kaopecktate.

Imagine not being able to follow the 1st and 2nd families to the Vineyard, Oh the horror of following the Palin's as the Berry Pick and Fish for their summer Vacation in the Alaskan Bush!

Why Andrea may have to bring her own "TP" and go in the woods!

Oh the Shadenfraude of that one is to precious....

Rev. Wright story is still relevant. Obama has not used good judgement in picking his friends.

The Wrong Kind of Woman?
NOW’s crusade against Sarah Palin.

Isn't "the wrong kind of woman" a term that some Victorian bigoted types used to describe a prostitute or some kind of minority they didn't want to be associated with?

That term brings up all sorts of mental associations from the past. So NOW, Juan Williams, etc. are reverting to just the innuendos and stereotypical put-downs of women that they were supposedly committed to fighting against. Tsk tsk.

Here are a few more Sunday morning takes:

Cokie Roberts on This Week without David says Palin is tough...

Old Sam says McCain did not say anything about Palins inexperience, aging Donaldson infers McCain picked her because she is a woman....

Stuffy says Palin is exciting for 48 hours...

George Will who actually has a downs syndrome child say Palin will do more to energize the base than anyone else could have and she is a great pick....

Cokie says women will be angry since Palin can't take care of a new baby and run for office....

some bald guy says the election will be about Reagan dems/working class people who are fed up with Washington BS...

Stephy talks(salivates) about the the trooper debacle and how it might effect Palin....

Stephly is also flabbergasted that Palin has no experience but the bald guy says not to fall into that trap set by the pubbies since bumma has no experience....

Fred Thompson on Woof Woof show with two other CNN rats says "Palin has been serving the public now for 13 years and has way more experience than bumma, and mentions that they are all comparing VP experience to bummas potential potus experience .....

Chris Matthews on his pathetic DBM rat show says Palin has "no world experience" and she just got a passport last year,...

rat Clarence someone says at least bumma had a "national presence" whoopeee dee.....

And someone else said earlier that he (Obama) is more ready now than 3 months ago because he has talked more and given more speeches!!!

If the more you talk/the more qualified you are for POTUS then my 8 year old can kick all their behinds!

Maria (the CNBC money lady) speaks very strongly about her interview with Palin before she was selected. Palin knows her stuff Maria says, well versed in energy and over all economic growth. Maria is very impressed, both with her and the positive comments from drivers, others she talked to.

Brokejaw quickly moves the topic to an earlier interview where she asks what the VP does. Gregory and Brokejaw laugh and suggest that interview will certainly be in a Rat add.

Tried to listen. Tried to become involved. Problem is Hurricane Gustav is now foreground and politics is background.

Even more important than Wright is Obama’s continuing friendship wth and defense of an American Terrorist and bomb thrower.

The refusal to allow journalists to see the Annenberg Challenge papers should be Obama’s version of the missing SF 180 four years ago.

John Heinz F’n Kerry has always been a shrill small little man, now he just comes off as such a bitter loser that one can’t hear a word he says.

The more I see of him I’m actually happier...he’s his own worst enemy, always has been and always will be.

I just listened (with an intense focus and ALOT of work) to him and he’s upset that Palin doesn’t buy into the people make weather, hot air algoreacle cult.

He’s unable to debate, so he just says things like saying Palin has more experience than the messiah is ridiculous on it’s face...then blabbers about Obama going overseas...ignoring that Palin has not only been overseas, but commands the Alaska Army and Air National Guards, but she actually goes there to SEE HER TROOPS!

She’s got more experience in her little finger than Obama’s WHOLE entourage!

The mainstream media wants to pick a extreme far left liberal to run the country. Sounds like the mainstream media is the same a Moveon.org.and also an arm of the Democrat Party.

"I had read that she had to work with Russia on fishing rights"

And we'll be negotiating with Russia on oil rights in the Artic. Gee, I wonder if she knows anything about that. She's just a woman, you know.

And if you had seen Palin’s interview with CNBC’s Marie Bartiromo, that’s the only conclusion to draw: Palin is nothing less than Reaganesque.

I caught about 2/3rd of it the other night.

The money honey if she went on a hunch and got that story looks absolutey brilliant.

ALOT of individual investor, market mavins are going to see that, even if they are Dems, they are goning to have to think differently about her, The Republican Ticket and Energy.

I wouldn't be supprised if NBC tries to can that interview, when it should be run more.....

Plagiarist Goodwin saying, emphatically, that Palin is not ready and going to cave when the press gets after her with tough questions. (Questions that should have been asked about and to Obama who is on the top of the ticket.)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Its interesting how protective of Sarah Palin we all are, only 2 days in.

Sarah Palin is as capable as Anne Coulter when it comes to the attack and defense of open discussion and debate. We will see that soon. I am looking forward to it.

And in a few days , guys like Goodwin will be qualifying their remarks with things like:

"She is viscious. She is cold hearted and an extremist," Just because she deservedly tore someone like Joe Biden or Matthews, or Goodwin a new A.H. live on T.V.

Surprise is about to happen.

Barracuda is an understatement. Palin is in the same mold as Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir.

We are very fortunate to have her.
