Die-hard Clinton supporters to air grievances outside convention
Boston Globe ^ | August 24, 2008 | Lisa Wangsness

Democratic Party leaders have spent weeks preparing a national convention this week that will burst with symbols of unshakable unity behind Senator Barack Obama.

But outside the convention arena in Denver, some of Hillary Clinton's supporters plan to air their grievances against Obama, the party's leadership, and the national media, whose coverage of the primary battle they considered sexist. Hundreds of disaffected Democrats from around the country plan to converge in the Mile High City to hold news conferences, protests, and vigils, threatening the party's ability to present a united front against Republican John McCain.

Good Hillary had like 18 million votes but apparently she wasnt liberal enough for Obama. I feel bad for Hillary and she is a smarter and better candidate than Obama.

Biden in #8 Liberal in the Senate and Obama is #1.

Is this part of Frank Costanza’s Festivus tradition of ‘airing of grievances’?

Hillary Clinton deserves all of the bad karma she has. She would be a disaster as president, even if she is smarter than Obama -- which, the more I learn, doesn't seem that hard to be.

This is the first time since the advent of cable that a 12 round heavyweight bout will be shown without charging $50 for the pay per view.

Let’s get ready to RUMMMMMMMMM-BLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE!

Hillary could bring George to the convention and introduce him and expose BHO for the fraud he is.

Hillary has the moral capability of a roach, but she was so, soooooooo much smarter than Obambi. I’m really glad that he didn’t pick her for VP. Had he done so, it would have been all over.

This was billed as a personality contest between Barack and Hillary. Actually, it was a contest between the special interest groups of blacks versus feminists.

Hillary can’t make this well. Neither can Obama. The battle for dominance in the Democrat Party is yet to be resolved.

On a more serious note these PUMA people had better watch their backs. Obama's people can play rough, and as experienced "community activists," they know how to infiltrate a crowd and set opponents up as aggressors.

Actually I think Michelle Obama had something to do with the Hillary diss. She is a loud mouth that needs to be reined in.

"I feel bad for Hillary and she is a smarter and better candidate than Obama."

It's hard to feel sorry for somebody who stepped on and used people every chance she got. She and her husband didn't make any new friends while they were in the White House and she obviously didn't ingratiate herself with many of her fellow Senators during her 6 years in the Senate. I just saw Bill Richardson on Fox News this morning, saying how he had held a fundraiser for her last month. I was surprised she was even talking to him, but then the Clinton's have always been able to abide traitors as long as money was involved.
