Biden may be more of a Dan Quayle type of running mate. Poor Quayle made a few gaffs and the media turned him into a laughing stock. Listening to Biden, there’s a better than even chance he will provide everyone some great sound bites, which he’s already started doing.

I watched the History Channel show ‘Modern Marvels’ last night. Rush has been promoting this show as it was one hour on OIL.

While it was a bit preachy about ‘running out’, I firmly believe it should be required viewing by everyone. It really described how oil is pervasive in our world and how we cannot live without it AT THIS TIME!

The difference, of course, was that Quayle is a Republican, and Biden is a democrat.

I’m not sure the press would ever cover a politician’s gaffes like they did poor Dan Quayle’s. More likely, they’ll say little or nothing.

The driveby’s are that biased.

Still, something we new media types need to keep pointing out—not only the gaffes to come, but the lack of driveby coverage and their bias!

Thanks Didi,what is glaringly missing here is the phrase “if Barry was born in Kenya” which suggests that they really may not have a smoking gun.

The only time I can remember anything as lopsided in coverage as the our own mainstream media is the pre-1991 reportage by PRAVDA - and my memory goes back to the 1950s...

...but even PRAVDA didn't have the chutzpah to claim to be "unbiased".
