With the Biden pick, it’s Romney. Telegenic and good campaigner, can get Biden to lose his temper in the VP debate. Pawlenty is now eliminated and likely Palin too.
Just a FWIW, my brother is is bigwig in the Dem party and he called last night and said things are going to get real ugly there this week. He said he’s leaving town for the week because of it. He lives in Northglenn.
Well dear Lord.....obviously I am not a geography major.
I only know that I can drive to Virginia in thirty minutes from my perch in the south of Delaware. I guess I think of it as being CLOSE to each other, not actually touching.
My point was, and I did not read a slew of books on the matter, but the point was there’s parts of Delaware closer to Virginia than you think.

He could be right. We have numerous updates from some buildings downtown and they beefed up all their security and put some new safeguards in place. Everyone who works downtown has been contacted by their company as to what to do and what contingency plans are in place. I have a couple of other sources as well, and the police have supposedly had their plans in place for some time and they do think they are prepared. They have been practicing for awhile too.
Hickenlooper owns a few bars and he does not want to lose any business.

I have no clues whatsoever where Biden got his money. which assumes Biden has a lot of money, which I don’t know is a fact.
As for his majestic “compound”....from what I saw on TV it looked like a house to me. A nice house but hardly a compound.
Now, does Biden have a lot of money? Senators make pretty good money....what, a hundred grand a year, something like that? Biden’s been a senator for thirty some years. seems to me one could wisely invest their money on that salary and have some funds.
So far as I know Biden’s never been involved in anything sneaky-snakey in terms of money but that’s so far as I know. Do not send me maps or quote from arcane textbooks.
If the question was meant to pry my memory for any local scandals involving Biden that I may know of, frankly and with all due respect, I know of none.
BTW, since I’m on a roll for being wrong today and the posse’s out to get me, I realize that I can drive to Merryland’s Assoteague Island way in a half an hour and THEN I would be but a hop, skip and jump from Virginia. So I have to go from Delaware, thru Merryland, before getting close to VA.
But Delaware does not border Virginia although I stick to my original contention that three states are very close to one another because.....
THAT’S WHY THE HELL THEY CALL IT the DELMARVA peninsula!
