When my mom was 23, I was 6 yrs old.
Both my grandmothers were 42 when I was born
42, they were barely out of their teens!!
I take back my 100 years ago comment SCP. I know you are much, much younger. Matter a fact. My mom was 21 when she had me, but my grandma was 45 (only because mom was her third child).
I think it goes back prior to the women’s lib movement in the 60s
