Unfortunately, there are men and women, like your husband and my ex-husband who are so callous that they don't care about anything but what makes them feel good. I was given 5 years or less to live in 1991 and my husband got involved in an adulterous relationship with a girl at work....

Good for you. Spent 20 years as a nurse in Oncology. Saw several men and women desert a spouse in the late stages of cancer. Even had divorce papers served on one woman while she was so sick, receiving chemo. Any one who can do that is not a human IMO.

Really? That's a surprise to me. I just thought mine was a despicable cad. LOL So much for "in sickness and in health." I'm sure God isn't happy with people who do that. Did you see women do this to their sick husbands, or did they stand by their man?
