Who knew Dan Quayle when he was a VP running mate? The Congressperson not running for President is a myth. There have been plenty of Senators that have been President.

You have Eric mixed up with Eddie Cantor.

I would be tickled pink if McCain chose Eric as V.P. I knew Eric briefly as a child and always wondered what became of him. I heard him on Bill Bennett’s radio show and was very, very impressed.

A Jewish VP would be perfect to counter a democratic Presidential candidate that spent two years of grade-school (your most formative years) in a Muslim school in Indonesia. I kind of like the contrast!

The risk is the paleocons who dont like Jewish people. I think theyve become a nothing in our party or at least I hope so They have become irrelevant. All two of them. :o) Buchanan and that other guy... Ron Paul Lol.

Who knew Dan Quayle when he was a VP running mate?Good point. I want a Veep 2008 who will be able to run for President 2012... when he maybe (God forbid) has to run against Hitlery Clintoon. I hope Cantor is ready for that.

Cantor is solid as a rock on a lot of issues, very pro-life, anti-terrorism, pro-Israel, etc. I’d have no problem with him as VP, in fact if he was McCain’s pick, it would make it a bit easier for me to pull the lever for McCain. Cantor is very much liked by most Virginians, including me. I wish he was my rep. in Congress, but my district has the notorious rad-lib, anti-Jewish, pro-illegal alien Moran (alias Moron), one of the biggest disgraces to come out of the Old Dominion.
Cantor rocks!

And if you think a VP slot has to have been a governor - please Since there's no governor or candidate with executive experience at the top of either ticket, I agree that it's a moot point.

So what? As long as he isn’t a Muslim.

(I had almost forgotten that McCain is the nominee. Too bad I was reminded.)
