Hagel: the sooner this joke retires, the better. He’s a jerk.

I thought he had a very good conservative voting record except for his opposition to the Iraq war???

Hagel will do or say anything for his own self interests.

Chuck needs to go home and take a pill.

Obamas weaknesses should be criticised, big time. The media will not do it. Kudos to John McCain for doing it!

Of course ridiculing Obama is the best. It chips away at his "Messiah" image, which needs much, much , more ridicule!

Chuck, NO, you don't believe Obama is a messiah, or DO you?

“I think John is treading on some very thin ground here when he impugns motives...”

REALLY? The Democrats have been impugning Bush’s motive for going into Iraq for over 5 years now. Why haven’t you ever said anything about THAT, Senator?

Hagel is nothing more than a Democrat mole in the GOP.

Hagel has some very strange positions on the Middle East that go back even before the Iraq war - he runs interference for the Iranians, the Syrians, makes snide remarks about Israel. Makes you wonder why he turned and where his funding is coming from.

I don’t believe that Hagel is going to run for re-election and no doubt would be happy to serve as VP with Obama OR in his cabinet. I can’t believe this guy is from Nebraska and can only imagine that his decision not to run again is because he knows that he can’t win.

Some very ugly things are happening. Hagel is an anti war veteran who doesn’t care that Obama snubbed wounded troops. The left is about to come to power and if this happens our nation will be perhaps irreperably wounded. Obama doesn’t care, he will usher in the leftist revolution while he works out at expensive gyms.

McCain said nothing about Obama’s patriotism. Apparently Hagel has some questions about Obama’s patriotism.

I am wondering if there is *any* criticism of Obama that is valid or allowable? Or do we just get it over with and present him with the Oval Office?

Britain is busy constructing its very own version of Orwell’s “1984”, the sheep in this country are furiously trying to catch up to them ( I hinge my only hope on the fact that so far, enough Americans are adamant in retaining our right to keep and bear arms), Canada is turning into a PC joke, freedom of speech and other freedoms under stealth attack, China is beginning to flex its muscle in the larger world, Russia is devolving into its usual totalitarianism, after the usual spell of near-anarchy, and the rest of the world is either too weak to matter (western Europe), or in a state of perpetual turmoil (Africa, the Middle East). Something’s got to give, and I don’t think it’s going to be pretty.

Hagel has sold himself to the highest bidder. Realizing the MSM is now his base, he realized that he can no longer win as a Republican in Nebraska. He’s thrown is lot in with the Soros/ Obama crowd. I really like the bs ‘patriotism’ straw man card. What was Hagel’s position on the surge? Why is Hagel never outraged by the anti-war Left’s tactics?

“I think John is treading on some very thin ground here when he impugns motives, when we start to get into, ‘You’re less patriotic than me’ and ‘I’m more patriotic.’ I admire and respect John McCain; we talk often. John’s better than that,” Hagel said.

The language of an ass if I’ve ever heard it. When did McCain say he was more patriotic, Hegel? Answer me.

'You're less patriotic than me' and 'I'm more patriotic'.

The truth always strikes a nerve and they alway respond the same way.

McCain, it's time to stir up a serious pot of "whoop ass" or you're (America) is gonna lose.

Well, either way, but that's another thread.

Doubt Barry would pick him for VP. Maybe promised him a cabinet position though?

I wish these publications would stop referring to Hagel as a Republican or conservative. Call him what he really is-a first class ass.

No he's not! He's third class......
