Wow, can you imagine the Change he could bring, if he spoke to the jihadists directly in their mother language in Indonesia...that'd be something.

He can probably speak to them directly in Arabic. At least in a limited vocabulary but with what is reportedly a very good accent.

Didn't the Anointed One recently say that he spoke no foreign languages? That was in conjunction with the "I don't worry about the immigrant kids learning English, but you should be sure your kids learn Spanish" flap.

Apparently he doesn't consider Bahasi Indonesian to be a foreign language. And come to think of it, for him, it's not.

I don’t know anyone who went to high school that didn’t take a second language.

You do now. :) But that's not the current policy, AFAIK. I even got through my bachelor's and master's degrees with out taking any language courses. Finally a little over 10 years ago I took two semesters of college level Spanish. I understand a little, especially if it's spoken with a Cuban accent. (My instructor is a contemporary of Fidel, having played basketball against him in Cuba. He even looks a bit like him, but without the beard).
