Indeed. The MSM has already used such a tactic in proclaiming the only reason Mitt Romney lost is that he's Mormon and the Republican Party is run by mean, nasty, "fundamentalist evangelical Christian" bible-thumping bigots who simply hate Mormons.

LOL. When I saw parts of the interview on TV yesterday I instantly said to my wife: “he’ll be apologizing for putting his kids on the air by this weekend.” He did it faster than I thought, just one day!
Obama is a disaster. It’s getting clearer and clearer even to his supporters that there’s a major problem here. I just hope he can hold it together long enough to actually be the official nominee. Don’t want him to totally implode before August.

I ask myself that question all the time. And, BTW, the answer is yes.
What I find particularly upsetting though is he only realizes it wasn't a "good idea" after the fact. That shows extremely poor judgment.
Softball questions and his daughters are nothing new in this scampaign.

In the new issue of Us Weekly, presidential candidate Barack Obama invited news director Lara Cohen to join his campaign for a day. He described some of his best Just Like Us moments, and took our Presidential Pop Quiz (where he revealed that his daughters think Britney and Paris are “yuck”).
