Given the current "climate" and PC philosophies of the sheeple with respect to use of deadly force, we've had several house meetings. The decision was the we would only think about calling LE after the shooting was over....depending on location, conditions, and surrounding terrain.
We hate to consider having to operate this way, but logically, it's a wise and prudent way to follow through a deadly force encounter.
Oh yeah...one more thing. Do your best to pick up your empties if you use a semi-auto!

All joking aside, NEVER pick up your empties if it is a justifiable shooting. Otherwise, you get hammered for tampering with evidence AND you’re definitely getting jailed on suspicion of murder.
Likewise, do not move or otherwise disturb the corpse.
There is a lot of fiction on those CSI shows BUT much of the forensics shown is real, just time compressed. Modern forensics can tell if you moved the body, how long after death you moved the body, and more importantly WHO moved the body. Likewise with shells.

If one has no intention of calling LE, then I think it would be unwise to leave empties.
The whole reason I made the suggestion is because the default norm in this time is to be charged with murder. Those in "authority" are not our friends much anymore, and haven't been for a long time. Thus we should adjust our actions and attitudes accordingly.
Shoot...Shovel...Shut-Up.

QX said the reason he went to talk to the brother is b/c he thought the brother was being railroaded by the white Pasadena Police Department.
But the priceless part was after visiting the guy's other apartment, Quannel was caught on camera shaking his head and saying "I knew this brother was guilty".

He needs to be brother toast soon. My sister lives in the same apartments and this guy’s trial run was with his pet on the previous Friday. Definitely premeditated.
