One monster of a structure: The Monster Monument at Victory Plaza
Hes been portrayed as an intimidating, car crushing creature who wreaks havoc on NASCARs most skilled competitors. Hes been molded into the winners trophy, playfully mimicked by victorious drivers, featured in a comic book, and posed as an action figure.
In 2008, Miles the Monster will become the largest attraction at a NASCAR track and will be one of the tallest fiberglass structures in the world. The Monster Monument will stand 46-feet-tall amongst race fans in the newly created Victory Plaza at Dover International Speedway.

I wonder who will get fixed and who will be out?
To: B4Ranch
Kahne looked like he scraped his rear right and can probably tape it up and go on. Dunno about Elliott.

I saw Fast Kasey going through and I thought it was going to end - then in a split second - there was Hamlin. Sheesh.... this is awefully quick to have one like that. With that at the first of the race what’re we gonna be like at the end.
To: don-o
I had a red too before I didn’t.
Lately that’s been par.

He should stay on the lead lap, it looks very repairable.
To: SouthTexas
Yup. Kinda can assume the default is at least one red, and a GWC.

While they can’t work on the cars during the red, it does allow them to get them to the garage. Might be more back than you would imagine.
Of course, they will all be down multiple laps.

The replays showed Kahne has some front right clip damage too... hard to tell how much.

I think Miles was sort of benign in this one. Big Bro Mo Monster at work:

The one job I would never want is to be a spotter. One bad no call and your a ditz.
To: glock rocks
Kasey was dropping back, 15th to 21st before the wreck. Maybe this is what he needs to get him going a little faster.

One bad no call and your a ditz.No kiddin! Sometimes I wonder if a no call is the right thing to do though, as they often seem to yell go-low/go-low and thats just the wrong thing to do from the driver POV.
To: AGreatPer
I wouldn’t made a good spotter. I’m told I’m not verbal enough when something is in the road. If I yell “cow,” wouldn’t you KNOW to stop cause there’s a cow on the center stripe? Same with “deer” or “buzzard.” Seems normal to me that if I yell the critter, it follows that the thing is in the road. Somehow, those I’ve been riding with didn’t agree.

“If I’m within half a lap of him, (Hamlin) I expect that I’ll hit him.”
Or something close to that.
