Hillary Clinton is still in the presidential race, she said today, because "historically, it makes no sense" to quit, and added that, "Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June," making an odd comparison between the dead candidate and Barack Obama.
"People have been trying to push me out since Iowa," she said to the Argus Leader's editorial board.

If she had just used the example of her husband not cinching the nomination until June and left off RK’s June assassination, her answer would have been fine.
How anyone can have regard for a man who is responsible for a young woman’s death is beyond me. The apology is meaningless to those with a sense of honor.

I can seriously see a McCain/Hillary ticket. McCain would love to do that to us. Oh well. He won the thing. Nothing we can do about that at this point.

I assume it is because more times than not the nomination is clinched earlier than June. She was looking for examples that fit her argument. Everyone does that. Watch the video and see what a big nothing her comment was in context.

Why shouldn't that be the case? She would have a motive and a history of involvement in multiple crimes in the past. Therefore, she would be a suspect until ruled out by some credible evidence to the contrary.
Right. She was looking for examples and had to go back forty years to find one. Which makes the example pretty irrelevant.
I did watch the video. She should have said Bobby was running in June, not assassinated in June. Perhaps someone of decent character could get away with saying it, but the Clintons' deserve every suspicion they get.
Lol, probably Hillary herself. Sounds like her anyway. That type of comment would be disliked even by some of her supporters I believe.
I watched it 5 hours ago. She didn’t realize what she was saying at the time (maybe), but it underlies a serious problem with a presidential front-runner. Nobody has thought about RFK for a long time. For her to bring him up now is disturbing to me.

Interesting. Do you think there is a chance you are disturbed by this more because you find her entire candidacy disturbing, or do you think you would judge a candidate you favored on the same scale?
I wasn't saying that it shouldn't. And I would add that she would be the last person nominated if it did.
She could have just as easily brought up Ted Kennedy vs Jimmy Carter. She chose assassination in June. A pass isn’t flying here.
