There is an old legend that redheads get their coloring from interbreeding between Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens, that it is a Neanderthal gene.
I think that was disproved years ago, but you still hear it sometimes.
How about albinism as a Neanderthal trait? I’ve known a bunch and they all look pretty Neanderthalish.
