No, it was a riot, like the Serbs pulled the day after Kosovo declared itself independent. If it doesn't involve machine guns and mortars, it's a riot.

There were far less people killed during the Serb riots - only a Serb by accident in the U.S. Embassy and later during a the arrest of Serbian court workers by the UN (who is said to have frog marched them - mostly women - through the Albanian sector of Mitrovica) there was a Ukrainian police officer killed when they were using bullets and rubber bullets against the Serbs.
There was no destruction of Albanian homes during the riots, no systematic destruction of mosques (which was done during the Albanian-led pogrom), and no stealing of homes and land which the Albanians did and still have some of them to this day.
