RIDLEY PARK, Pa.—Two military helicopters were vandalized on the production line at a Boeing factory near Philadelphia, the Defense Department said Thursday as it offered a reward in the case.

Federal officials were handing out fliers to workers at the Boeing Rotorcraft Systems plant listing a $5,000 reward in the damaging of the two H-47 Chinook helicopters.

"We have determined that this was a deliberate act and not an accident," said Ken Maupin, resident agent in charge of the Philadelphia area office of the Defense Criminal Investigative Service, at a news conference outside the plant.

Suspicions confirmed. "Vandalized" seems a bit euphemistic though.

The thing is that this is an old plant and fathers and sons have worked there. Someone who would do this should stick out like a sore thumb!

If at least one of the individuals who are responsible for this is not executed as a result, I will be very annoyed.

No doubt.

Deliberately damaging equipment intended for use by or transport of ou rmilitary personnel is tantamount to shooting at them, and should be met with commensurate punishment.

I call for DEATH!

I like the Union Guy that expresses indignation at anyone who would do anything against this nation. Like unions haven’t enbraced those who hate our nation, Democrats and their fellow travelers one and all.

I remember when A.N.S.W.E.R. held a rally about five years ago, and there were a few union leaders there supporting the event. Also there was a member of a problematic groups from South America, and a member of a Muslem insurgent group from the Philipenes. There were many other anti-American groups present.

Union, I can do with out. So can our nation.

I would use the term “sabotaged.”

'Cause what you see you might not get
And we can bet so don't you get souped yet
You're scheming on a thing that's a mirage
I'm trying to tell you now it's sabotage

Under 18 USC 2154 - "Production of defective war material, war premises, or war utilities," this is a 30-year felony. Might also be charged under 2153 - "Destruction of war material, war premises, or war utilities," also a 30-year felony.

Sabotage is a fine WW2 term for damaging war material.

Vandalism is a very poor term for what happened. Vandalism sounds like grade school brats putting graffiti on the underpass wall.

No foreign military has ever defeated the US in modern history.

But they have been repeatedly defeated by Americans who sabotage them.

My guess is some of the “peace loving” anti-military SOB’s that infest that area. I grew up by the Boeing plant when it was Vertol, after Piasecki, and started my military career in the area. In the early 1980’s I was an 18 year old Navy aircrewman stationed at NAS Willow Grove. A group called the “Epiphany Plowshares” cut through the fence and sabotaged a number of airplanes including one I was scheduled to fly on that morning. This group consisted of priests and nuns from some wacky pseudo-Catholic order and the usual moonbats. I always thought it funny that their desire for peace and non-violence didn’t include myself or my twelve shipmates who would have perished when the plane either exploded on engine start or crashed on takeoff!

The saddest part of this is that if I remember correctly, these bastards were never convicted! They would disrupt the proceedings until there was a mistrial. This occured several times and I think the Feds finally gave up trying to prosecute them. I always wished that the sailor on duty who caught them would have been armed with a .45 instead of a nightstick. Would have settled the matter once and for all, and maybe set an example for the other traitors out there!

Anybody remember this???
