Cheddar Man was haplogroup U5a as was my dad's Scottish mother. Many of the Laplanders (Sa'ami) are haplogroup U5b.

I’ve come across most of your posts and articles, including the one about the Cheddar Man. I hadn’t seen the mention of the haplogroup U in that article, though.
