Amy, thanks so much for keeping everyone up to date on Jim, I can understand the reluctance to see the results of the surgery, I had a near fatal car wreck in ‘03 and I got a glimpse of my already-ugly mug in the mirror, with a fresh dose of ugly, it’s hard to deal with, and Jim?
It’s ok to take all the time you want, what you feel able to deal with on any given day is not dependent on anybody’s schedule, it only depends on what you feel like doing, as little or as much as you please.
We’re all just glad that you are who you are, a man among men, someone who has resolve and determination, someone we love and respect under all conditions and in any situation.
Most of us have come to know you because of FR, but what we feel for you goes way *beyond* FR, we are all members of a grand extended family, not all of us always get along with each other, but that’s the nature of families. But the glue holding us together in this family?
That’s you Jim, you are ‘Dad’ to many more people than you will ever know, of that I am sure, and we love you.
Rest well now, hope you enjoy your dinner, and tomorrow you’ll be one day closer to getting out of there and heading home.
G’nite, the Lord IS with you! :)
