You are with us in days of plenty and in days of want. We know You never leave us or forsake us. Accept our grateful praise for being as close to Jim as the very breath he breathes as he has undergone this tremendous trial. Thank You for seeing him safely through his surgery and for the promise that You will be with him during the days that lie ahead. Be his strength, his shield, and his stronghold----his sure defense---as he prevails over these adversities. Hide him in the shadow of Your wings, Father, and may there be rest for his spirit and many days of joy in his future. Thank You for the important work You have given him to do, and may he continue to do all for Your glory. Be exalted, O God, on earth and in heaven, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
