Few here think that the recent Chinese posters are probably agents of the Chinese state, although it would hardly be surprising if one or more actually were. All of us humans are under the same sky. As the brave Russian Solzhenitsyn wrote:

Thanks for posting.

Be on the same side of the fence, I understand and agree with you.Yes,you are right , Alexander Solzhenitsyn issues a piercing reminder that the struggle between good and evil isn’t a simple battle.

When we confront our world with the truth of the Gospel, we need to be mindful that evil isn’t just out there. It’s within our ranks as well. Just Judas, he was “of the number of the twelve”So we must to be “wise as serpents and innocent like doves”

But we must to know , sin isn’t just present among the Judases in our midst. It resides in each of our hearts as well. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?
Before we hurry off to bring the message of the truth to our world, we’d do well to take a hard look at our own hearts. And go into the inner sanctum of our hearts. That’s where we confront honestly the darkness of our duplicity.
Don’t think this doesn’t apply to us. “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”

And now, headsonpikes and other Americans,I take a hard look at my own heart, and confront honestly you all.It necessary to let you know that I come here because I think It’s nice to learn about other people’s culture. And I think we need more communication to understanding each other.Yes you are right, we are in the same sky,so sometimes we would have a similar feeling but from a little different angle.Just like people from different area can always reach the same goal with different methods independently. And we all know that Europeans invented spoons and folk for eating while Chinese use sticks. There’s no absolutely right or wrong in most cases.

In the end, headsonpikes, I want to you believe that,I’m not the guy you had thought. So, I do not appreciate being judged for any sins of that guy. They are not my sins. It’s a human fault to lump all of one “type” of people together, and prejudge them based on your assumptions. It’s a shortcut. It makes it easier to relate. But it is mental laziness. You and me should think about it.Do you agree with me?

I'm happy to see that you concur with me on Solzhenitsyn's insight. Along side Koestler, Orwell, Chambers, Kravchenko and others, he made his life a living witness to what he had seen in the camps and in the former USSR generally.

I do not doubt that there are equally brave and eloquent spokesmen for the Chinese experience of Communist tyranny. I think I speak for most FReepers when I say that we welcome posters from every nation, seeing that liberty is a universal value, belonging of right to all men. Hey - I'm Canadian!

OTOH, most folks here know a skunk when they smell one. ;^)

I like to judge matters on the basis of actual events, so I'll be reserving my judgment on the bona fides of the recent signups from your country after the dust settles a little.

Meanwhile, I am full of sadness over the terrible loss of life being suffered in Sichuan(sp). I am impressed by the evident extraordinary rescue efforts led by your government and genuinely surprised by the Chinese media openness. To be honest, I continue to be suspicious of the general intentions of The Communist Party, and have no plans to change my opinion.

Welcome aboard, anyway!

It is good that the Light shines bright in your side of the world. Be of good cheer. Jesus Christ is near!

We share the same Father, it seems, so we must be brothers!!!
